It’s been an award winning year for us – and earlier this year we were pleased as punch to be awarded the ‘Best e-commerce website’ for our work for Moda Furnishings UK Launch.
The Northern Digital Awards is a celebration created by Don’t Panic Event Management and Prolific North.
The awards recognise the best in digital marketing campaigns and talent in the north west region. The accolades given out on the night reward websites across a number of sectors to reflect the online world that is now part of the fabric of our lives.
We are proud of the work we do for every single client that comes through the doors of Fluid – priding ourselves on ensuring that every website we create can function seamlessly and meet the needs of its target audience – smashing the necessary business objectives.
Our work for Moda has been a developing relationship as we were initially awarded the Australia contract – and as a result of the success of our work on the British website, we are now working with their US operation.
We were briefed to launch an e-commerce solution for the UK; producing a bespoke responsive Magento website, focusing on the quality, high end value of the Moda product offering.
We needed to ensure the design and functionality of the customer experience was supported by the back-end delivery.
We created bundled products, with stock managed on each individual item and developed a bespoke management ERP system which streamlined the warehousing, producing all relevant documents including picking lists, despatch notes and delivery notes. Completed orders were also allocated to specific delivery vans on a regional basis. Not only did this streamline admin tasks for the client but provided the customer with delivery updates – all part of the user experience. This meant that the consumer was reassured by the online experience and happy to purchase the high end, high value products.
We exceeded revenue targets by producing a website on brief and in budget that surpassed expectations due to the functionality and creativity of design – harnessing the brand within the purchase journey and ensuring we created a shopping experience that could only be Moda.
Creating a website that met and exceeded client expectation was fantastic – and receiving an award for it has really been the icing on the cake.
