Supporting a busy M1 site & making clever use of their PPC budget

With over a decade of online retail experience, Cleverboxes is a successful non-high street multi-channel retailer, partnering with some of the biggest online marketplace brands such as Tesco Direct. They have a large product range from technology to furnishings and bedlinen, home electricals, sound and vision and garden furniture.
Their objectives & targets
Cleverboxes had previously enlisted another agency to manage their PPC campaigns but were not seeing the required return on ad spend.
In order to make the most of this large traffic source for this busy online retailer, they had a target of £10 revenue for every £1 they invested into their PPC campaigns.
What we did
We assessed their Shopping feed to look for opportunities to improve the way that products are filtered, and also for data quality issues. We then implemented a brand new structure for the Shopping campaigns to fit with the logic of the website. We also used fine tuned bidding to ensure the best converting products appeared more frequently, without preventing the whole product catalogue from showing.
