Who's the client?

Whispering Smith are a Manchester based designer and wholesaler of fashion. They have grown into one of the largest fashion suppliers in the UK, selling close to 4 million units in early 2016 alone. They supply to customers large and small such as, Boohoo, Topman, French Connection and Macy's.

Their objectives & targets

Whispering Smith wanted a new B2B website which could fulfil orders to smaller customers, not buying the quantities of larger retailers. It also needed to offer their existing clients a way to browse new lines and check their invoices as their previous site didn't have the functionality to do this.

Targets for the new site are reduction in customer service contact due to customers having better access to their account information. They also wanted to see an increase in overall sessions to the site as their old site was not transactional.

What we did

Whispering Smith had a new brand style which we applied to the look and feel of the site and also gave them a clean and easy to navigate site structure. This meant that both new and existing clients would be able to find everything they needed easily.

As well as utilising all the basic features of Magento 2 we added additional functionality which was essential to their needs. Multiple prices were required for products as well as an improved search function, to offer more relevant and useful results to customers. The account area was a focus for the team so we utilised Magento's order history and rich account features to offer customers access to more detailed information.

The site has just gone live so we're waiting to see the results, but so far it's looking good with an increase in sessions and a drop in bounce and exit rates.
