Who's the client?

Celebrate Gifts is a leading gifting retailer of chocolate, candle and wine bouquets, built on the Shopify platform. The retailer also sells through the Amazon marketplace, through their two brands, The Chocolate Bouquet Company and Cndle.

The retailer has experienced high growth within the past year and needed an experienced digital advertising partner who could optimise and grow their Google Ads and Amazon Advertising accounts ahead of the seasonal gifting period and beyond.

Celebrate Gifts approached us to improve their current PPC and Amazon strategies in order to maximise sales for their unique products and improve their return on ad spend.

Their objectives & targets

The retailer has ambitious growth targets, but their key focus is to maintain a profitable RoAS and ACoS on their digital advertising channels.

The target audience for the retailer is quite broad, which provides a unique challenge for the digital advertising strategy. Primarily, the target audience is gift shoppers, with specific search intent for gifts for friends or family members.

We worked with the Celebrate Gifts team to develop a campaign that would involve Google Ads and Amazon, to maximise their exposure and increase their market share.

What we did

We completely rebuilt their digital advertising accounts across Google Ads and Amazon using best practice guidelines, and restructured campaigns around the retailer’s products to streamline the customer journey from search to purchase.

The Amazon strategy included Amazon Brand Store creation and management, content optimisation and Amazon Advertising. Brand Stores were created for their two brands, to better showcase the product ranges as well as functioning as landing pages for the advertising strategy. Content was streamlined to improve readability, feature relevant product information, and include the most relevant keywords to the user. This was all supported by Amazon Advertising which included Sponsored Brand Ads and Sponsored Product Ads with building, bidding, and search query management managed through a combination of proprietary and third party tools.

For our Google Ads management, we restructured the account completely by building their structure around product category groups on site and identifying broader keywords to maximise exposure and scale the campaign.
