Ecommerce Account Director

The Role
Fluid Digital is looking for an organised, highly motivated and inspirational Account Director to lead our Client services team, you will become an integral part of a energetic and forward thinking e-commerce agency. You will thrive in a varied and exciting role boosting delivery capacity across all aspects of Magento e-commerce, PPC and Usability. Developing growth strategies for our fantastic variety of clients who range from market leading household names to smaller niche organisations.You will be required to identify key decision makers, prioritise tasks and manage client demands within our multi-discipline team and be responsible for growth strategies by scoping and defining roadmaps. Provide regular business reporting and insights to clients, ultimately ensuring that all projects are delivered to the highest quality.

This is an exciting period for Fluid, we’re a fast growing ecommerce agency based in our fantastic new offices in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Life at Fluid is anything but predictable or monotonous and our clients span a number of different verticals including retail/fashion, lifestyle, home and B2B. We build award-winning Magento websites, but we don’t stop there. Using a combination of pay-per-click advertising, conversion rate optimisation and on-going Magento support, we create profitable ecommerce stores that convert more shoppers into customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify clients’ key decision makers and influencers in order to build solid relationships and ensure the client’s’ business needs are being catered for at all levels
  • Be proactive and develop ecommerce growth strategies for Fluid clients
  • Grow and develop the Fluid client service team
  • Provide regular business reporting and insights to clients via the client service team
  • Develop and implement cross-sell and up-sell opportunities for clients
  • Negotiate business renewals and contract requirements
  • Support new business pitches and processes to aid the agency in growing our client portfolio
  • Monitor commercial viability of clients projects and campaigns

Essential

  • Experience working with Magento ecommerce clients
  • A positive attitude and high levels of personal motivation
  • Minimum of five years working within a digital agency
  • Experience of managing multiple team members
  • Broad understanding of digital marketing (specifically including PPC)
  • High standard of written language and mathematical proficiency
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Strong meeting management skills

  • Good presentation skills
  • Negotiation skills
